Marvin Watkins

A Senior Producer for Noble Vision Pictures with over fifteen years of experience in the entertainment industry in a wide variety of projects. His career began in the music industry as a Manager, which led to Senior National Director of A&R for Priority/Capitol Records. In this position he gained invaluable experience in producing, editing, budgeting, and managing. The transition from the music business to film and television was seamless, due to his familiarity with the entertainment industry. Watkins’ film credits include Producer and Writer of the feature film, Budz House, starring Fazion Love, Wesley Jonathan, and Luenell; Back Stage at Budz House, a stand-up comedy film starring Kevin Hart, Chris Spencer, and Big Les; Writer and Producer of Channel 9 KCAL’s The Brian Mc Knight Talk Show; and Technical Advisor on the film The Sunchaser with Oscar Award winning Director, Michael Cimino, starring Woody Harrelson and Anne Bancroft.

A film director, screenwriter, producer, actor, and legendary West Coast record producer. Musically he has collaborated with multi-platinum artist 2-Pac, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, and Snoop Dogg, to name a few. DJ Pooh began his film career by producing the drive-by shooting sequence in the film Boyz n the Hood. His film credits include actor and writer of the hit comedy classic Friday, starring Chris Tucker and Ice Cube; Director, actor and writer of the feature film 3 Strikes, starring Mike Epps, Meagan Good, and David Allen Grier; and Director, writer, actor, and producer of feature film The Wash, starring George Wallace, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre. DJ Pooh also is the writer and producer of the highly successful video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
